Coral Quest : Bobbi Brown Sweet Nectar

This spring/summer I decided to start my quest for a perfect Coral lipstick. And in this journey I want you to come along with me.
As part of this journey, I will feature one coral/pink coral/orange lipstick every Wednesday in hope of finding the perfect one.

So, I will start our journey today with Bobbi Brown Rich Lip Color in Sweet Nectar
Texture wise its beautiful, smooth and pigmented. The color instantly brightens up the face. I generally wear this color with barely there to no makeup.

What do you think of the color ?

EOTD : Flicked Eyeliner

I haven't been wearing makeup for quite sometime so I thought to start with simple eye look.

Please excuse my eyebrows, I am not getting a chance to get them threaded.

I used Australis Double Decker Eye Duo in Supernova Casanova all over my eyes and Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliner to upper lashline.
Its a very basic look but a failsafe one.

Products Used:
MAC Pro Longwear Concealer in NC35
MAC Painterly Paint Pot
Australis Double Decker Eye Duo in Supernova Casanova
Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliner
MAC Vanilla pigment as highlighter

  • Apply Black Kohl along the upper lash line and smudge it using the shimmery black eyeshadow

Lilac Eyes

I had done this lilac/plum look on one of the weekend. I have tried to break down the steps using pictures although I am not sure how helpful it is.

Apply the plum/lilac color eyeshadow all over the eyelid. I have used MAC Noir Plum from the Peacocky Collection

Apply a matte brown eyeshadow in outer crease. This can be intensified depending what you are after

 Then apply black eyeliner on upper lashline. I have used Bobbi Brown Gel liner in Black

Now as apply any black Kajal on the waterline and lower lash line. Then smudge it only at outer corners using the lilac/plum eyeshadow.I have used Stila Kajal.
And as final step, 2 coats of mascara

Please let me know in comments what you think of this

One EyeShadow Smokey Look

I had tried this look when I wanted to take the easy shortcut in achieving a smokey look.

Products Used :
-> Revlon eyeshadow
-> Bobbi Brown Beige Shimmerbrick
-> Himalaya Kajal

All I did was line my eyes with Kajal and then smudge it using the eyeshadow. After that I layered the eyeshadow on the outer 2/3rd upper lid and the light beige strip from the shimmer brick in the inner corner.
Then, I again lined my eyes with Kajal and mascara.
